agreement for illustrators

Hi guys- this is the agreement for the illustrators, although looking at it, it does look serious! Let me know what you think. I will email you guys in Word document if that will be better.


MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT


This Agreement, between Lovely Books (us but we can call ourselves another name) and the Illustrator (the illustrator’s name), in regards to the Love and Lust publication, shall be considered binding in all circumstances and mutually agreed as follows:

1. The Illustrator states that the work, is free to be published by Lovely Books in the Love and Lust publication.
2. The Illustrator releases Lovely Books from any responsibilities relating to any legal actions incurred by the contents of the work.
3. Illustrators will retain all rights to said work.
4. Lovely Books will ensure the work will be used for the Love and Lust publication, which shall be no more than 50 copies and for non-commercial use.
5. Lovely Books reserves the right to use said illustrations for the purpose of advertising and/or marketing said work on our website for a limited time.
6. Lovely Books will ensure the Illustrator of said work will receive full credit for all illustrations in the Love and Lust publication.
